Home Information Pack (HIPs)

If you are selling your house we realise, with the introduction of the new HIPS pack, that the process now seems to be so much more complicated!

The introduction of the Home Information Pack (HIP) will mean that solicitors will be involved at the beginning of the property selling process rather than near the end.

Our conveyancing solicitors aim to keep things simple for you, so as well as providing unrivalled, first class, legal services from the start we can also arrange for your HIP too.

The HIP is fully transferable and is owned by you and not an agent. This means that you will own and control your HIP . In most instances, estate agent prepared HIPS belong to the Agent who may charge exit fees if you want to change to another Agent. A solicitor prepared HIP belongs to you, so you have freedom to choose. A solicitor prepared HIP is usually cheaper than the agents outsourced agency.

For one all inclusive price of £350, we will provide you with a Home Information Pack. We can even quote you to undertake the legal work with any related purchase as part of the package. If a HIP is bought through us, you can defer payment until the property is sold**
