Can I claim for an injury?
The simple answer is yes, no matter how minor. If you sustain a minor whiplash (neck) injury from the motor accident, and you make a full recovery between a few weeks from the date of the accident up to one year following the accident, we would pursue compensation on your behalf in the region between £750 to £2,550 depending on the nature of your injury. If your injury persists for up to two years following the accident, then we would pursue compensation between £2,250 to £4,575.00 on your behalf.
These figures are taken from the Judicial Studies Board Guidelines and are dependent upon the nature of your injury. If you suffered a more moderate/severe injury, or death, from the motor accident then of course the awards made will increase.
